On the first floor of CHAHARU, we offer two special experiences.

First, enjoy the charm of Dogo by strolling through the town in a beautiful kimono. Our Kimono Rental service offers a wide selection, from elegant traditional patterns to vibrant modern designs. They are perfect for creating unforgettable memories to your journey.

The Dogo Blend Relaxation treatment features a unique aroma made from a blend of three carefully selected citrus fruits grown in Ehime. Combined with the skilled techniques of our therapists, it offers a deeply soothing and blissful moment of relaxation.

An art space where you can enjoy the garden, design, and photography while dining.

In addition to window seats overlooking the English garden, we offer dining tables and sofas surrounded by the works of photographer Mika Ninagawa, who has won numerous awards, including the Kimura Ihei Photography Award.

You can also relax in a variety of spaces suited to any occasion, such as private rooms featuring original artwork created exclusively for Hari by textile designer Fujio Ishimoto.

One of CHAHARU’s greatest features is its open-air rooftop bath: the first ever built in Dogo. While soaking in the ancient waters of Dogo Onsen, Japan’s oldest hot spring, guests can immerse themselves in sweeping views of Matsuyama Castle to the south and the majestic Ishizuchi Mountains to the north.

From the clear blue skies of morning to the moonlit, star-filled nights, the scenery changes beautifully over time, offering a deeply soothing experience that relaxes both body and mind.

The hotel also features a panoramic indoor bath, where you can unwind while admiring views of Matsuyama and the changing seasons, immersing yourself fully in the rich and healing waters of Dogo Onsen.
